Neurodiverse Self-Understanding

If you are curious if you are neurodiverse, or in what way you are neurodiverse, I would like to support you in that process.

I know it took me so long, personally, to examine and define my own neurodiversity. I would love to help you find your way through that. To complete your quest of Defining Your Neurodiversity.

I want to support you in learning characteristics of neurodiversity, and which ones fit for you personally, in a way that underscores your worth, is realistic about challenges you face, and highlights all the amazing things about you.

Many assessments for Autism and ADHD focus on dated, stereotyped views of neurodivergence. They capture outward characteristics that neurotypical assessors found different and strange. They do not capture the lovely inner worlds of neurodiverse people, or their struggles to live in a neurotypical-supremacy culture. Thus, I provide information about self-assessments you can take, but I prioritize neuro-affirming checklists created by neurodiverse folks.

Neurodiverse Self-Diagnosis Consultation

You've done your research. You have a strong sense of who you are — you just want a clinician to weigh in.

That's exactly what a Neurodiverse Self-Diagnosis Consultation is for. I'll send you a few assessments and checklists ahead of time, and then we'll meet to review everything together: your results, your research, your questions. By the end, you'll have a clinical perspective on your neurotype to hold alongside your own.

Self-Diagnosis Consultations are $350 — significantly less than a full Assessment, and still a meaningful clinical touchpoint.

Looking for a full written assessment to share with your doctor or loved ones? See the Assessment option below.

Adult Autism Assessment

Maybe you've noticed some autistic traits in yourself, or spent years wondering why you've always felt a little different. You don't need to have it figured out — that's what this is for.

A Full Assessment is for anyone who wants a thorough, clinical look at their neurotype, complete with a written report you can share with your doctor, therapist, or loved ones. You don't need to come in knowing much about yourself or autism. We'll work through it together.

Here's how the process works: I'll start by sending you some online assessments and a written interview to complete on your own time. From there, we'll meet one or two times for a verbal interview, then once more to go over your results. You'll receive a full written report with my clinical findings and, if applicable, your diagnosis.

A note on what makes this different: I went through this process myself not long ago, and was struck by how pathologizing the language in my own report felt. You won't find that here. As someone who is AuDHD and gifted, I approach this work as an insider — someone who understands both the real challenges and the genuine strengths of being neurodivergent. I'm committed to making this process as neuro-affirming as I know how, and I'm always open to feedback.

If it matters to you to be assessed by someone who truly gets it, you're in the right place. Assessments are $850, and I'd love to hear from you — just send me a message below to get started.
